THE ELDREDGE KNOT

During our daily search for sartorial inspiration, we came across this image from thisfellow:

The entire outfit is a hit in our books, but what really caught out attention was that tie knot. It looks cool, and is actually a lot easier to tie than it looks. Below is our attempt at step-by-step instructions. However, we also suggest checking out this video if you should require more detailed instructions.

And there you have it, folks! The Eldredge knot.

  1. Thank you for the consideration of my knot. Though, it is unfortunately tied wrong by the pictures.

It would be worth watching my Eldredge Knot Revisited video for the correct initial moves.

    Regards,
    Jeffrey Eldredge

    3. Sir Jeffrey Eldredge,

Thank you deeply for your magnificent knot. As someone who's been mastering the art of tying ties since the age of 12, this knot is a piece of art that I'm confident I'll be using far more often.

You've taken suiting up to a whole new level bro!

  3. This is by far the most awesome knot that I've ever seen. How is it tightened though? That would be a worthwhile thing to show in an instructional video. :/

  7. You tighten it by holding the knot, and the lower tie. then push up the knot as normal.
