TALL MEN: A CALL TO ACTION

There seems to be a growing problem amongst men of a taller stature - particularly in the NBA.

We're not quite sure how it happened (Some of these guys have stylists!) or what to call it, but from what we're gathered, this has been going on since the early 80s and it needs to stop. If you're a tall man who's tired of looking like an NBA rookie on draft night, you may want to consider a few key things the next time you look for a suit:

1. Make sure it fits: When you're tall, finding a suit that fits properly can be a bit of a challenge. It cannot be stressed enough how important it is to buy the right size, especially if you're a slim guy, too - because wearing a suit that's too big can make you look like a very tall boy wearing your dad's hand-me-downs.

2. Pay attention to details: Choose a jacket with two or three buttons - at most. Any more than that, and well, do you really want to look like Bobby Jackson circa 1997? Also, lighter colours add width to a narrow frame, and so do ties with a bit more width to them, so steer clear of skinny ties.

3. Relax: When it boils down to it, you're buying a suit, and the experience shouldn't give you a panic attack. If you think you're going to have a hard time remembering what to look for when you buy your next suit, just come on over and let us handle all of the technicalities. You can just check out how good you look in your new ensemble afterwards.
